I must say thatI love the thrill of digging through pieces that have a story behind them – a story that I will most likely never know. Something about it always excites me, without fail. Then there is the sound of the hangers moving across the racks that reminds me that I’m there for a very important task: to find a VINTAGE TREASURE! Any vintagess out there reading this knows EXACTLY what I mean.
Well, the sweet sound of the hangers never lets me down. I discovered a BEAUTY of a dress awhile back and I’ve been meaning to share it with you all. It’s definitely from the early 80′s and it simply delicious.

Ebony Black Evening Gown. Glamorous as can be!

Shoulders in the design of beautiful roses except they are made up of small bows that create the illusion.

A gathered bodice that is very flattering. This dress can make any gal look and feel glamourous!
This is not your everyday piece so no I have to manifest an event to wear it to. Hmm… I’m thinking a major award show or something of the like. I’ll let you know when I bust it out. What a day it will be.
When I put it on, I feel rather old hollywood – like Joan Crawford “ish” (minus the Mommie Dearest personality…yikes). Its all about the big to do bowtie shoulders and the big bow tie along the back of the dress. A bit much you ask? Please, It’s NEVER too much for the PVSP! You gotta be bold and live it up!
