SPRING HAS MOST DEFINITELY SPRUNG

I haven’t updated my diary for a few days, I don’t even know where to begin with whats bubbling up in my world. Much to share with you. For starters, I’m off to Paris, France in a few days and would to invite you to take part in the journey with me!

Hello dearest PVSPians!
Are you enjoying your Friday so far? I certainly expect so 
Before I write any more let me share Friday’s Purploptimism with you. What is a PURPLOPTIMISM you ask? Well, since purple is the color of prosperity, abundance, wealth & royalty here at Purple Vintage Space Princess we like to keep things positive if you haven’t noticed already!
Life is too short not to take full advantage of your passions and your dreams while you are to enjoy. So I have created PURPLOPTIMISMS – daily affirmations fueled by the power of purple that exude positivity in all areas of life! These are simply affirmations that I have come up with that assist me in becoming strong in my daily journey. I am not a certified therapist or a counselor. You need not to be in order to shed positive light onto people you connect with. Thats one great thing about Purploptimisms, EVERYONE CAN RELATE. I’m in the midst of creating a deck of cards that will display all of them in a beautiful decorative way. Stay tuned for updates. Until then we can enjoy them right here on the website and soon you will have your own deck to follow and use each day.

I picked up a SUPER CUTE black & white pinstripe dress last week. It is so cute and extra dainty & feminine. It’s perfect for spring and feels so light on. This Spring, pinstripes and polka dots are in. Christian Lacroix has some in his Spring 2009 line up – SEE BELOW
As do some other designers. Kim Kardashian is strutting a denim pinstripe number this season as well.
No offense but Kim K. should totally rock a different style dress. I know she is fond of showing off her derrier but she would look SO MUCH better in an a-line type dress/skirt or an empire style. Geez, I wouldn’t mind styling her, she could use my help if I don’t say so my self:) Don’t get me wrong, these dresses are cute in their own way but they have NOTHING on the vintage piece that I scored. What kind of woman would I be if I didn’t bust out the cuter, more affordable, better made vintage version, Right?
Dresses just aren’t cut or tailored for women nowadays as they used to. What is not to love?
I leave you with those words. It’s been a long day and I must sleep “early” tonight! I have a big day of vintage rummaging and shopping tomorrow. I can’t wait to discover some relics! Make sure to stop by the boutique especially this weekend. I’ll be posting up some great newbies.

Purple Power Wednesday!
Hello Dearest PVSPians!
Are you feeling PURPLE today? Is it just me or did today feel a bit fast? I’m definitely not complaining but something felt different. Not a bad thing at all… just different!
Maybe its because I kept myself tucked away in my place all day working. Eeeks… I don’t even remember stepping outside. Hmmm… perhaps thats my issue! Heh heh! I plugged away on my laptop and stayed in my robe for the morning and afternoon (yeah… SO WHAT???) it was cozy! Cozy cozy comfort!
Well, I have lots to share with you but it will have to wait until tomorrow. In the mean time you can stop by the boutique and check out some vintage finds! I literally have hundreds of pieces to add. *DEEP BREATH* It will all be posted day by day, piece by piece

Vintage Vanilla Dreams are as real as they seem!
Not a cloud in the sky today – just how I like it! It gave me the extra boost that I needed to get all of my tasks done! I took advantage and photographed much of PVSP inventory outside today. While I was working there was the cutest squirrel watching me in action for a minute or two. It was surprisingly calm for a squirrel… whatever that means. It was just chilling out on the grass and not doing much. I didn’t have time to snap it’s picture though otherwise it would have made it into today’s shoot as the honorary guest for sure.
Well, picked up this Vanilla Dream number at a quaint 2nd hand shop last week!
The ladies that run the place are a riot! I always have a good time and find diamonds in the ruff there. It has a zipper up the back and a sweet lacy slip lining underneath that lies just an inch or so below the length of the dress. Its light, bright and feels OH SO RIGHT! I’ll post it up in the boutique a bit later. Check out the boutique for the latest items! There literally aren’t enough hours in the day to post all the amazing vintage that I have to share with you but the posting is coming along
I’m literally counting down the days to a blow out vintage sale this Saturday! I know that I’m going to find some retro relics and have a plethora of items to throw at you.
Talking about countdowns… there are several going on in my purple world. For starters, I’m headed to Paris in 2 weeks and I’ve started my countdown today! 14 more days to go and SO MUCH to accomplish before I take off! I’ll be writing, video taking, photo snapping and all that jazz while I’m down there (of course) so you will have to stay tuned here to catch all the juicy updates. You know how I roll!
