What a day its been!
I had a late start as I was up for most of the night (and wee hours of the morning) working on my hair accessories collection
“Goddess Wear for the Hair”. I can’t wait to share more with you. You can see one of them in my hair in the pictures below. I made it out of a an old vintage belt amonst some other additions. FABS! Stay tuned for my updates about it! I’ve got a lot going on! Thanks for your patience dearest PVSPians. It will be well worth the wait…
Anyhoo, so I woke up later than usual which felt a bit strange but I just rolled with it. A little change never hurt anyone. I had a mishap with some bad coffee! Ick! Just thinking about it makes me want to hurl. But I had a delicious fix of some Cafe Au Lait with french vanilla. Can we say “AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS” together? Mmmm mmm mmm! I’m not even a major coffee drinker but as of recent days (as in about two weeks ago) I’ve been really liking the taste. I drink it in moderation and I feel good about it!
Talking about feeling good, I pulled up my vintage pair of suede Mary Janes today. They are from Japan, toasted almond in color and so darn comfortable. True gems. A good friend gave them to me in college and I will NEVER let them go! I busted them out with my magenta footless tights and my sheer lavendar print slip dress. Ah! A purple vintage dream. I felt royal….

Hello PVSPians!
Another gorgeous day! I spent a chunk of the day in the sun and made my way over to a new vintage store nearby me.
Oh la la, did she have some amazing finds. My vintage overdose meter went through the roof and could not get ENOUGH. I picked up a beautiful sterling silver ring with some mother of pearl adorned on it. AHHHHH, I LOVE! I basically wanted to toss the whole entire in the car and have a night with just me, some wine and my VINTAGE FINDS but I managed to pace myself to just get a few items!
The word is out that there will be a mega weekend sale next Friday & Saturday so I already know that I have to be there to get all the items on my list. I can’t wait to share them. I need to post hundreds of items to my boutique but didn’t get a chance to today! Ho hum! So much to post, so much to share… not to worry at all for it SHALL be there.
On another note, I hope that you all participated in Earth Hour! At 8:30pm everyone who is participating WORLDWIDE will shut off their lights for one hour. I know that we can all take an hour out of our day to do this! It’s your chance to take action global warming! I hope you all did your part!

Wasn’t it just gorgeous outside today? Ahhhhhhh! I felt so springy and amazing when I was out and about running errands. I can’t even fully express how good I feel when the sun is shinning and smiling down on me. I truly need to be in that kind of environment at all times.
So I was wearing my flowing, pleated skirt Tiffany & C0 blue colored wrap dress today. It’s such a unique and stand out color. I had EVERYONE asking me where I got it! I of course let them know who they were talking to. None other than the
PURPLE VINTAGE SPACE PRINCESS herself! This is of course, a one of a kind dress but I just went vintage shopping today and I picked up some very darling items. TOO CUTE FOR WORDS so you will just have to check it out for yourself at my boutique. I have hundreds of vintage and homemade items to post so please bear with me. Check back every other day for new items that I am posting up. The shop will be soon filled with more than enough goodies for you to drool over. Hee hee!

It’s just about that time when all of the lovely spring dresses are hitting the racks at stores!
There are loads of vintage spring dresses floating around life. I can’t get enough of my little spring dresses. I practically live in them all spring and summer. However, if you are looking for a vintage inspried type spring dress for a great deal. Look no further. You must step into FOREVER 21!

I give this style of dress an A+ because it makes every woman look like a goddess and we deserve to look like goddesses don’t we? Do get to dressing, ladies!
No matter what your weight or body type is you will look amazing in your long, luxurious empire dress.
My saying is that you don’t have to spend a fortune to look fabulous! There are several designers out there that are flowing with this trend. My advice is if you want to save your dough for some other fabulous finds, take a trip down to Forever 21 and find your your ideal empire dress in your favorite print or color. They have created plenty of choices for us so don’t be too scared about someone else wearing your new find. I am queen of “not wanting to see another gal in my outfit” but I got one anyway. I will personalize my dress and make it my own! You can do the same.

It’s Monday I LOVE Mondays because that’s when I share some of my favorite things with you!
Let me just say… I can’t get enough of leggings!!! They constantly go in and out of style but when it comes to the PVSP: LEGGINGS NEVER LOSE THEIR PEP! I of course am always dressed in about 95% vintage but when it comes to getting leggings they don’t exist. This is when I turn to some of my FAVORITE affordable retailers for my basic needs.
Note that you can find some great leggings for practically pennies! Don’t be fooled into buying the designer brand. Trust that they are using the EXACT same materials as the non name brand accessories. You can find cheaper if not cuter styles and funky colors and textures! Take a trip down to H&M Kmart and two of my personal favorites for shopping for the basics… (tees, tights, cute socks, etc), Forever 21 and my all time favorite, Target!
You can’t beat the prices! I got a great pair of purple tights with ruffled ankles for $1.99 at Target last week. I’m so happy with them:) Go and grab a pair for yourself (before I buy them all out)!

Purple Vintage Space Princess: It’s Friday the 13th… AND?
I’ve had a mellow yet productive day. No frills or thrills (besides the thrill of life itself…) just relaxing and sunny! I was thrilled that the sun was out even though it was so cold. Didn’t the day go by so fast too? Of course its all relative but I feel like my whole week flew by. I can’t believe its Friday already. I feel like it just started, no?
My sister reminded me that today was Friday the 13th. Ooooooooooooooh da da da duuuuuuuuuuh! Do people still act crazy on this day of the year believing in superstitions of good or bad luck? I personally never gave the “13th” a second thought and go about my day as usual. It’s just another day folks! Just another day…

As for me, I need to enter purpledream land early tonight. I won’t even begin to discuss how little sleep I’ve been getting! I’ve been working a lot but most definitely not complaining, I love it. However, sleep & rest are very important and I’m going to indulge in it all TONIGHT:) DElicious
I tackled everything on my TO DO list so I’m happy with myself.

I feel so out of sorts today! I really need to get a proper desk chair when I do my work. My back needs a
SERIOUS adjustment! That’s not what is really bothering me though. I currently have the hangnail from hell and I’m so over tired. I have just about had it! So its signing off time for me.
DEEP THOUGHTS ON HANGNAILS: You know, its one of those teeny tiny ones that you can barely see but you brush your finger against something it gets caught and the feeling is unbearable!!! How can something so small hurt SO BAAAADDDDDD?!?!?!?! Anyone have a great remedy? ANYONE???!?!?!?
Yes, I know its such ground-breaking news… Those little buggers can cause quite the disruption to your day you know? I tried vitamin E oil, band-aid…. everything! Nothing has worked 100%. It’s even messing with my guitar playing. OY VEY! This dry winter weather can be BRUTAL!

Happy Monday to you! If you live in New England or the New York area you had a snowy day… just like me today! How did you like it? You all know what my answer is that question.
Ummm…. WTF????!?!?! I was outside last night around 11:30pm and I was really enjoying the smooth cool night air around me. It was a nice warmish night and the snow had long melted and no where in sight. Just how I like it!
To my surprise this morning, I look out my window and it was coming down like crazy. Ho hum!
What is the use of complaining about it right? It’s not as if I can have a one on one with mother nature and strike a firm deal with her… I wonder what she would ask for, though! Hee hee!
So on my snowy day I kept a low profile! I worked on the website for most of the day and organized a mound of vintage finds that I have been meaning to get to! These pieces all need to be modeled and photographed!!! Calling all ASSISTANTS PUH-LEEEEESE! Oh…. one of these days very soon I will hire na assistant. I love producing and creating everything that I do but sometimes this one woman show needs a bit of rest, YOU KNOW WHAT I’M SAYIN’? Anyhoo, check this out!

Phew… I needed to take a break from my purple power dance to say hello! I was having a blast… can’t you tell? Hee hee!
So, what is the Purple Power Dance you ask?
Well… its any movement where you release your inhibitions, throw caution to wind and express yourself with movement. Throw on ANYTHING purple and let loose… let those prosperous purple vibes seduce you! If you don’t have ANYTHING purple we need to have a SERIOUS talk and I’ll have to hook you up with a fabulous vintage find as soon as possible!
Ah, I am having waaaaaaay too much fun creating animations! The limitations are endless!
There was SUCH amazing weather today! I realized how much I truy love warm weather. I loved not having to bundle up in my winter coat, boots and things. I do love my wintery vintage attire, (don’t you dare get me wrong… ) but I cherish the ease of wearing light clothes in warm weather. It felt like Spring and I couldn’t help but to have my head in Spring time daydreams for most of the day. It was great…
I’m tuckered out so its of to relaxation land for me! You know there will be much more from me later. Don’t forget to incorporate your purple power dance into your evening! I’d love to see it
