Purple Vintage Space Princess Jumps for Joy – The American Idol Auditions!

Ooooooooh YES!
The time has come again, folks! IT’S TIME FOR ANOTHER WRETCHED SEASON OF AMERICAN IDOL!

 
It’s that time of year to gear up your stomach muscles for some true laughter! Actually, to be quite honest, it the time to gear up EMOTIONALLY for all the pain you will feel for these AMERICAN IDOL HOPEFULS during the audition process. How I feel for them…. I can’t even seriously get into it. I won’t put the energy or the effort into writing about memorable past auditions or past losers. Why bother? The past is in the past.
All I know is that this new season is bound to be extremely interesting. I think I will just tune into the scary auditions because its great material to write about (for years…).
So don’t miss the 2-day, 4-hour season premiere event Tuesday, January 13th and Wednesday, January 14th 8/7c only on FOX! 

Another reason to watch is to see how the change up of judges is on Miss Paula Abdul!

There is also going to be a new female host to join the team, Kara DioGuardi! OUCH! I wonder how Paula whole heartedly feels about that.  

I can’t believe Fox! WAIT, yes I SURE can! They are known for being so nasty and gritty! I am just waiting to see the cat fight erupt. It’s GOING to happen at least once during the course of the season. Isn’t that give in? Kara DioGuardi  is also a singer/songwriter (Paula’s days of singing and songwriting are OVER however… thank goodness – wait… I did love her hit Rush Rush back in the day… anyway) she’s waaaaaaay younger than Paula, she doesn’t look like she has had any facial surgery (unline Paula) I mean the list goes on! I’m also looking forward to how Simon is going to antagonize Paula and try to make her crumble on camera. I bet it was written into the contract to have something new and spicy for this season and to raise ratings. There is definitely a power trip going on between these ladies! Forget about finding amazing talent this season. It’s all about getting the people BACK ON TRACK with the show.  Simon is probably rehearsing his sharp-tongue harsh comments, proclaiming how he loves Kara and how Paula should learn a thing or two from her.

Can’t you just smell it? I’m really going to have to pace myself with this guilty pleasure. I don’t want to watch it till the very end. It takes too much out of me. I did that for the 3rd and 4th seasons and I was obsessed! I vowed to never let it overtake me again. THE DEATH GRIP JAWS OF AMERICAN IDOL!!!!

As for the auditions, you can count me in for the long haul and know that I will most definitely review one or two of those horrific scenes. As a singer/songwriter and musician myself, I don’t feel like American Idol would be good for me AT ALL. It’s definitely not my calling to be in that crazed setting. My claim to fame is definitely hailing from another area. Promise!
